Yeah you know I like some things he's done, and that one is on my List to read because it's precisely the kind of scenario I love.

Also, did you read The Ballad of Black Tom?

No, but that's on my list---as are Pym and The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe, which I understand likewise grapple with the inherent prejudices of early wierd fiction.
