lol.  I love the part where the yes-man is on the phone with Ewan.  "Yeah, it's gonna be great.  It's fantastic." *emotionless face*

red state was awesome. don't believe the negative hype. i've been following smith since clerks in 1994 and this film definitely is one of his best. fucking edge of the seat madness. lots of omgwtf swerves and solid acting.
and yes, it's horrifying because this shit could easily happen with lunatics like phelps running around.

Anuvahood was hilarious.  It's a comedy version of Kidulthood and Adulthood and stars a few of the same actors.  It's completely chav, but very funny.

There's a third?  I thought the only thing upcoming was the animated series, Uprising.

I really never like the idea of a sequel/pt III, etc. when it wasn't initially in the cards for the franchise. It seems like "oh, that made bank. lets do it again!" (Hangover II, etc.)

If its good, then awesome. But, I'll maintain my cynicism until proven wrong.

We watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes over the weekend.  It was so fucking fantastic, I can't wait to watch it again.  I have always been a big fan of the originals and was so disappointed by Burton's reboot of the first, (why the hell he took a major premise like humans not talking and made them talk still boggles my mind) that I was a bit cautious about this one.  Once I saw the decent reviews coming in, I decided to give it a chance.

Best movie from this summer that I have seen yet.  Seriously check it out. Serkis was phenomenal yet again.

I was giving that movie a pass so far, but that is officially one rave review too many for me to ignore Rise of the Planet of the Apes any longer.  When it hits Movie Central, I'll be watching it.

I love that movie (and the soundtrack).
I think it was the first time I've watched it since seeing it in the theater when it first came out, not sure why it took so long to see again, definitely one of tarantino's best
