The "Lotus Flower" video
Not that this is a direct diss at that, not by any means, just my mind made the connection immediately and thought it was hilarious.

An astonishing volume and diversity in their selections.

I -really- hate how this has become a meme on a general basis, but I really can't not love this, fucking Lo Pan! (also featuring the real Lo Pan!)

Lately I've become a fan of the
PBS Idea Channel on YouTube
. It takes current-day trends and ideas and uses them as tools for philosophical video essays on the state of culture, where it comes from, and where its going. They're incredibly well-researched and deep probing idea rants that are captivating and thought-provoking. Here's a few of my personal favourites:
Does the Kinect make Microsoft an arts benefactor?
Are memes and internet culture creating a singularity?
Is Homestuck the Ulysses of the Internet?
Are you a hipster?
(I know the title for this one makes it sound stupid, but it gets ridiculously interesting about half-way through. Totally worth watching.)
Its one of the few YouTube channels I've actually subscribed to. Thought you guys would enjoy it.

This is like watching someone 5-star "Through the Fire and the Flames", but with feet.

I like the top comment. "I need him to kill some cockroaches in my house."

I know I pimped this YouTube channel earlier in this thread, but this deserves another post. This rant blew my mind. Starts off a little cheesy, ends up being
amazing
. Mind = blown.
Is math a feature of the universe, or a feature of human creation?
