Hahahaha ya i was saying the same thing with my roommate/coworker. (the one that isn't a pot head.) I said it was just so they could say people were still playing Wow... Even though no one is.  So they can say they still have ten million people playing or whatever... And i may just buy two copies so i can play the moment its live. And get the collectors edition as well. Im also gona nerd it up and take vaction time for it.... Yep.

Steam is having a sale on games now. Its halloween games. SO, i'm about to buy Dead Space 2 and Fear 3. Dead Space 2 for 10bucks Fear 3 for 30 bucks...

And today was payday...

I have gotten to the point where I don't even buy anything on Steam sales anymore because either I've bought it (and not played it yet lol), or I've already gamefly'd it.

hahah I have played all the Fear games. I got the first game's box set when I first bought my PC. I played through the game and I liked it. Got the second as well. I also did the same for Dead Space. I liked it, I got the second cheap.


I reinstalled wow and bought a year of play time. I'm a fucking nerd... I finally got curse to work, so I can install all my addons. yay.

I picked up Bioshock and Bioshock 2 from Steam's sale for $4.99 each.  I tried Bioshock last night and am kinda meh on it and wish I could get a refund.  8-p   Maybe I just wasnt in the right mood.  I hear it is awesome and was expecting a better story so far.

I have to admit, when the initial coolness of travelling down to Rapture wore off, I was quite underwhelmed by the gameplay itself.  It has some cool ideas, but the gameplay doesn't change in any way during the game and fast becomes repetitve and dull, and the second is just more of the same with a few tweaks.  I honestly found them very boring and completed them simply because I don't like just stopping a game mid way through unless it's just really really bad.

I've been getting stuck in on Battlefield 3 MP (SP was a bit of a bust, seems like just a way of channeling books sales for that idiot Mcnab) and so far it's a blast.  Is anyone playing on PC?  MP anyone?

I've got the PC version and I'm trying to wade into the multiplayer slowly but surely. I'm a BC2 veteran (re: the guy who died a lot trying to keep a 1:1 score and failed to do even that) but it's been years since I played an actual... BATTLEFIELD game, if that makes sense (My PC couldn't run BF2 at the time it had launched ... so I skipped out on it).

 I'm really having a blast with BF3 though... it's easily one of the most amazing shooters I've played. It's a whole different ballgame than Counter-Strike... I am enjoying rocket whoring shooters out of their sniper decks, though.

I used to play the shit out of the original BF:1942 but havent really played any of the others since.  I am seriously considering picking up BF:3 though.  If I do, I will be down for some MP with you guys.
