I just watched Contagion. And while I thought the idea and story was a great thing. It seamed kinda lacking... It was a good movie, but it wasn't a GREAT movie. It's worth a watch though. The whole pandemic thing is a good movie villain, and with as interconnected as we are now it works really well.

That's the American remake of REC, right? I always hear that Contagion was pretty good, but REC was amazing.

No, you are thinking of  Quarantine   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quarantine_(2008_film)   (while I haven't watched either film, I have heard that [REC] is the better of the two. ) and I think it has zombies (after reading it, Rabies!)

I watched Conan O'Brien Can't Stop on netflix the other day.  I really enjoyed it.  I was happy it was a documentary about his tour and not just a recording of the performance.  That guy was worn down and crazy by the end of the whole thing.  His personal assistant must be some kind of saint.  Definitely watch this if you enjoy Conan.

yeah i'm going to pick that up soon. loved that flick even more than the original (omg blasphemy!)

recently saw Young Adult. wow. wow. wow. so fucking good. reitman and cody did it again. and i think we can stop shitting on diablo because she's more than proven herself with this script. so fucking mature and poignant. saw a lot of myself in that theron role, and that was painful in itself. really worth checking out. fucking funny with a great dose of cringeworthyness. seriously. watch it.

Watched Delhi Belly over the weekend and it was hilarious!  Think Guy Ritchie meets Bollywood, but without the song and dance.  It's on netflix.

you got quick but non-dizzying martial arts, frequent gore, and lots of guns...
oh, and it's a foreign film, so you can convince your significant other it's a classy movie.
