I was quite upset to learn that Steam didn't have either "System Shock" available for download.

I'm not even gonna lie, it is some bullshit. They have every other "Shock" game but not the masterpieces that are System Shock 1 & 2? :|

I managed to get lucky and I still have the copy my brother bought in 1999. Apparently even USED copies of the 1999 CD-ROM go for a good $40-50 bucks on eBay.

I can't remember who it is specifically that's retaining the rights to the original System Shocks, but I remember reading an article a while back that basically said they're being giant fucking dicks about the games, and aren't letting them out.

I'm playing through Borderlands (I bought the newest DLC. I only finished the Zombie DLC) But anyhoo, I got done with the first play through. And the second is stupid hard. Considering I have way better gear then when I first started the game, and stuff, its crazy how much harder shit is. Mostly its just some area's that have skags, first play there was like 6 and one or two where the big skags. Then this time, there is 15 and they are all the big skags. It sucks. However, its a lot more fun, cuz I have to worry about death. (Granted, loosing money isn't that big of a deal. Since it doesn't matter. AKA D2) BUT tons of fun!

The Claptrap one?  Get Knoxx, it's so much better and has far more longevity due to being the biggest DLC, plus, it's absolutely hilarious listening to Knoxx over the comms.

Money becomes very inconsequential in that game when you get to a certain level and after a while, with a few exceptions, nothing is really worth buying at the vending machines.

Madden 12 has basically eliminated everything I like to do.  Rolling out of the pocket is basically an instant sack.  Play-action passes are basically an instant sack.  Kick and punt returns are virtually impossible.  Those 3 things were pretty much responsible for 60% of my total yards in previous Maddens.  The only reason I win any games at all is because they made the computer's run-defense on higher difficulty levels a lot more reasonable, so I frequently finish games with 200 yards on the ground and 30 yards passing with 3 picks and 5 sacks.

If you agree to pay for a year of wow you get D3 free. I also want to get the collector's edition of D3. I haven't played wow in awhile (My account time was up in July. but I didn't play for most that month.) If I do play, I won't be doing much of the end game stuff. It would all be lvling alts. I have kinda wanted to go back. Cuz I have been bored as hell with everything, and Wow is a great time killer. (and leveling alts is a lot of time.)

Cuz the new expansion looks shitty. Not gona lie. Also the talent trees blow, they are stream line, but still meh...

Blizzard really is an evil genius.  They know they will lose WoW subscriptions during the first year of Diablo III.  Seriously, if these guys ever get into marketing pharmaceuticals, we are doomed.

In a surprise twist, Blizzard begins marketing a drug called "Stay-a-wake", an addictive and expensive substance that helps you stay awake during long gaming sessions. Side effects include death and an insatiable urge to play Activision/Blizzard games.
