I received my Diablo 3 yesterday and enjoyed it so far.  It showed me just how scaled back an minimal the beta was, which is good.  I am playing it through on my own first since that's the only way I can enjoy the story and lore.  PM me if you want my battletag.

While I won't be buying anything out of the real money ah, I have bought one thing out of the for gold ah. But if I was selling stuff in the rmah I would be pissed if someone was undercutting me and duplicating his items.

I would like to see them do the same thing they did with D2. Make a online only Ladder, and then a offline/online ladder. And you can sell only to each one. (and have a hardcore section for each.)

A lot of people are pissed about the RMAH thing, to be honest, I can completely understand why they did it; people are going to make RM out of the game regardless, they do it on every MMO, Blizzard clearly understand that they can never stop it, so they might as well make some money out of it when others are doing the same thing with their game and players can do the same without fear of having accounts banned should they choose to sell anything for real money.

I, like Aaron however, wouldn't buy anything from an RMAH.

The RMAH thing pissed me off when I first read about it, but then I realized it was an "if you can't beat them, join them" thing like static said.  Plus, they are giving people a place where they know they won't get screwed over.

So my group hit into the 50s and we tried Hell yesterday.  Dear god.....  Lots and lots of farming ahead to raise DPS levels.  The first few areas weren't too bad, but some of the champion and unique mobs just absolutely fucked our couch!   So we did a lot of boss farming with Azmodan and Diablo, but the spoils were pretty weak - not a single rare or higher!  Couple of the guys got some Legendary drops on a previous night though, plus, it's all early days.

I have to say, I'm loving how you can just drop in and out of games and that you can farm and do bosses with a lot more ease than setting up an alliance and such with any MMORPG.  Whilst I don't regret never playing the previous games, I am really enjoying this one.

Ya bosses drop shit for gear. The mobs right before Azmodan drop better gear by far. That's also how we power level people. But ya, the rare mobs fucking suck. It's also sad they are a lot harder then the bosses.

Finally finished Bioshock a week-ish ago.  The story kinda dragged in the beginning, which is half of what led me to not finish it on my first trip out.  But, once things get moving about halfway through, holy crap did it get good.  Loved it.  I would've liked a longer ending, it just seemed a little abrupt, even though it did finish off everything that needed to be.

Also played my way through Mirror's Edge after picking it up on Steam for $5.  That was a seriously underrated game as well, but way too short for its initial price tag of $60.  In the exact opposite of the previous game, it could've used another level or two in the beginning to slowly ramp up the acrobatics required and get the player used to it.  I can see why a lot of people didn't like it at first, if they approached it like any other FPS.    You definitely have to get into the game's mindset to really get what its going for, but when you do, wow is it an awesome ride.

Next on my list, Bulletstorm.  Then possibly Rage.  Depends if I want to wait for a new computer before playing that or not.  I kinda do, but that might not happen any time soon.

YES!  Exactly!  I've been soloing through hell and the bosses are all a cakewalk compared to campion and rare bosses (we all come from FFXI, we keep calling them NMs!), especially when you get fast mobs, invulnerable minions, molten and a fucking chain binding them all together! 

I started a Barb last night for a laugh and it's actually the first time I've ever enjoyed playing a tank character, mainly because you can soak up damage as well as you can throw it back out, I'm so used to tanks being weak as piss on the attacks and having to rely on everyone else to kill things whilst you just stand there like a wall.

I really enjoyed that too, it was a very simple but beautiful looking game too with the stark contrasts in colours.  It had a pretty decent Cyberpunk storyline as well.  Like you, I would have preferred a little more step-up levels where you can practice and learn your moves a little better, it gets a little frustrating at first, but once you figure everything out, it's very enjoyable and works surprisingly well in an First Person environment.

Bulletstorm was fun, it was even more fun just trying to do ridiculous combos with the lash whip and various weapons, brilliant game.  Rage was so so, I picked it up because I enjoyed Borderlands and have a penchant for anything post apocalyptic, it had some very interesting missions and some of the races are really fun, it's just a shame it was faily short and had no additional content (unless I'm missing something).

With Rage, I'm not expecting much in terms of complex gameplay or in-depth story.  Its an id game, I know what I'm getting: shiny.  Lots of splattery complex shiny.  Anything else is just icing when it comes to id games.

Pretty much nail on there head bud.  You fast stop caring about the storyline and just go about smashing things.  The only downside is that there aren't too many sidequests to do or locations to explore that you won't come to anyway.
