I found a local band I really like a year and a half ago ish. https://yearofthecobra.bandcamp.com/   It's a two piece, husband and wife she sings and plays bass, he drums. The music is Black Sabbathy, and really good. And they are some super awesome and nice people, like so much so even if I wasn't as big on the music as I am I'd still support them.

I've just been applauding people.  I suppose that's not saying much, but I feel like the facebook system has schooled me not to just say "hey that's cool" or "I also appreciate this thing" or "haha."  On the one hand, it leads to me making more thoughtful comments, but on the other, I make FEWER.  So when I do communicate, it's better quality, but I do it a lot less, on the whole, I think.

That's why it was time for me to go.  I couldn't bother to communicate anymore.  I couldn't give a shit what anyone else was ever doing, especially enough that I should have felt compelled to compliment them.  I didn't care much for anyone looking in on my life either.  It sort took a lot for me not to attack everybody on Facebook.  Jesus.

I miss my friends and family, but not really.  Probably makes me a jerk, but I don't care.

oh wow! just saw their new vid for that song too. glad they're getting political. i never see that side of them.
