I just started watching "The Flash" on netflix. It's good. It's cheesy fun. Like it isn't super dark and serious, but fun.

TV shows are hard for me to watch. I have what TPD has called TVADHD. I will be watching a show and just stop caring. Like completely not give a shit anymore. BUT I've also found that if I don't just plow through a show super quick that helps a lot too. I did get through the 2 seasons of "Penny Dreadful" super quick. But that was awhile ago...

I didn't like Penny Dreadful much, and refuse to watch any CW show related to DC Comics.

Mostly on priciple, because I think DC sucks.  I hate Superman, as a character.  Batman is awesome when he's well-written.  But it's kind of apples and oranges when it comes to something like a Marvel story.  I'm a Marvel fan at heart, so I'm totally biased.

But the powers that be go and try to fuck around with things they shouldn't.  Constantine, the show, could have been their start in the right direction, but they took a character that is supposed to be so morally ambiguous that he can talk his way out of hell, and made him cute for network TV.

Weak sauce.

I think a main factor in my liking of Penny Dreadful was that I plowed through it in a week or two tops.

I haven't seen Constantine the show. I thought the movie was pretty good for a horror/monster ish movie. Like not expecting a mind blowing movie it was pretty good.

I'm not big on Superman either. I didn't know it was CW, I'm pretty out of the loop as far as tv goes... We have cable, but it's mostly for my roommate to watch...

That being said, I'm still gonna watch The Flash till I get bored. Then odds are I'll stop for awhile and then might come back to it...

The sixth season, which was made to be a pretty fun way to wrap the whole thing up.  That's going to be one of those shows that I'll be happy to go back to.

If you guys aren't watching The Expanse yet, you should start.  Holy shit.
Agreed!  Just got caught up over the weekend, I'm loving how this show is moving now.  I found the first season a little sparse until the last few episodes when things started to click, and now its just amazing non-stop.

Season 4 is generally the despised of the bunch.  Season 5 is when Harmon came back.  Honestly, I didn't mind season 4, I'm not sure why everyone complained about it.

Fuck yeah.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I like it more than Battlestar.  SyFy is really hitting their stride with this one.

And they're actually cussing in the show now!  I know that's a little thing, but if you mean to tell me that you're in a serious deep-shit conundrum, and you're not swearing every second word, you're either Mormon or existing in a world where vulgar language is apparently non-existant.

that's right. mixed up my seasons.
4 just felt off. it was very uneven.
heck, even season 5 referred to 4 as a gas leak year.

I still can't get enough of The Expanse.

Black Sails is nearing the end of its run.  Three episodes left, I think?  I'm going to miss those mother fuckers.  Seriously, there's a scene where they keelhaul a dude, and it's one of the most visceral yet amazing scenes I've ever watched.

And Legion is fun.  I'm calling Lenny as Shadow King!

he totally is!
his dog (the one that was also lenny) is even named king.
that's the tip off. my older brother pointed it out. at one point he was even wearing old timey egyptiany robes.
total shadow king.

Chichi and I are watching it later today.  I love how much she's nerding out about it, without even delving into the source material. :)

That's the sign of a good show. Probably the best marvel show ever. Which is weird seeing it's still under Fox control.
