Honestly, the whole reason I'm still on fb is the people.  It's objectively terrible in a lot of ways, but it's where fucking everyone is, so if I go, I lose contact with a shitload of people, and outside discord and occasionally here, fb IS the majority of my non-work human interaction.

I often wonder after you as well, no idea what you're getting notified about though; my life continues to be as uninteresting as ever.  I'm still working from home, but the work I'm doing is going pretty well.  Father-in-law's narration has gotten better and we've reached a point where we commiserate about the bad books after I once awkwardly blurted out how much I had come to hate the series.  Kinda my MO for problem-solving.  Just throw it out there and back-pedal or brainstorm as appropriate  Husband has a well-paying if demanding job, but he enjoys it more than retail hell and it means I'm no longer the primary breadwinner as a freelancer, which is a HUGE relief.

I mean, that's about it.  Adventures and vacations are expensive, so we stay in and play videogames.

I saw someone, I think Nayl, talking about a facebook group at some point. is that active and worth it for old bastards or has it become kid recommended and adult approved?

Anyway, my lack of technical proficiency aside for the moment, a) HOLY SHIT SOULESS! and b) DISCORD?!  THAT'S FUCKING BRILLIANT!  idk if everyone else would be into it, but it'd be something that isn't facebook that I'm pretty good about checking.

We're still us, though we're vastly reduced in number.  By being on FB, we've automatically lost Chim and r00, and turtle, either of her own volition or out of respect for r00's privacy (r00 and turtle WERE a thing pre-exodus, right?  it's been so long I'm wondering if I even remember right anymore).  We'd gathered a fair number, though participation has dwindled over time as people have jumped ship or just drifted away from using fb.  As far as I know, the following are still at least somewhat active in the group:
