finally got to listen to the nin version of zoo station. i like it. its good to hear trent's voice again.

this link should work for a while:
http://fuckyeahatticusross.tumblr.com/post/11904562422/zoo-station-nine-inch-nails-produced-by-trent

i hope this isn't all he meant by new nin in 2011 though...

doesn't really sound like nin... but definitely sounds like trent singing a U2 song (with some nin-esque production)

I don't want to listen to it until I get a hard copy and can hear it compression-free.  It is my favourite U2 song of all time done by my favourite artist.  I cannot let a shitty mp3 ruin this moment for me.  8-p

I'm not a U2 fan so my opinion is kinda moot...
liked some of the electronics at the end... other than that I hope it meets your expectations. :p

And the shitty compression factor is why i have yet to dl the new puppy record. still waiting for amazon to ship it.
guhhhhhhhhh.

So you know what I mean.  8)

For a non-U2 fan, I still advise you to buy/download Achtung Baby and Zooropa.  I think you would like them.  The latter is basically an Eno/Flood album that U2 did the playing and vocals for.  The last track has Johnny Cash on lead vocals and is <3<3<3.

That "Zoo Station" cover is the most horrific thing I've heard in a long time.  :'(

It is muddy and pedestrian. The vocals are terrible and it goes absolutely nowhere. I don't even know the original so this isn't me comparing it to something I love - I'm hearing it fresh.
